Painting the Sunset

Today, I pulled out my old friend, a big wooden easel, set it up in the living room and poured several colors onto a palette. Without even thinking of what I was going to paint, I started moving a color filled brush vigorously all over the large canvas. It felt wonderful.
I used brilliant colors of orange, ochre, purple and blue and started to paint a self portrait of sorts. This time, I am smiling…and there is a brilliant sunset behind me.

Always follow your heart and happiness will always be at the tips of your fingers… or brushes as the case may be. These are such wonderful days… and it seems you’re being heaped upon by many great joys. It’s about time!
