Keep on Going

Yesterday, I spent all day with my mom, rubbing her back gently, attending to her and talking. I don’t know how many times I told her I loved her and kissed her but it was a lot and wasn’t enough.
Life’s current just keeps me moving even though I want to stop time and not face tomorrow with it’s uncertainties.

Last night it rained like hell. A neighbor sent me an email this morning and she signed it with this:

“May the rain cleanse and nourish you with fresh new life force energy.”

Now, I will hold that thought as I sweep the mud off my porch.
